Online Lessons

Due to the lockdown measures put in place to stop the spread  of coronavirus in March, all face to face lessons had to stop. Within a week, all lessons had moved online and both tutor and pupils quickly settled into this new way of working.

February 2022 update

Face to face lessons have fully resumed, although I do ask any child who is feeling at all poorly to request an online lesson. Many pupils have decided to stick with online lessons and these are still recommended.

Why choose online?

  • Flexible lesson times
  • Reduced journey times
  • A varied approach to learning including the use of video clips, interactive games and powerpoints along with books and worksheets. There are all the face to face favourites too including Fraction Snap and Whizz.
  • Just £22.50 per hour from October 2020 (10% cheaper than face to face)

Lessons  take place using Zoom and follow the same format as face to face lessons. Don't worry if you haven't used this before, you simply  need to download Zoom using the link sent to you via  email before each lesson.  Resources for each lesson can be viewed by each pupil on a shared screen or on one of my webcams. All additional material and homework will be placed in an online folder for you to access.
